Grill Masters Club

Grill Masters Club

The monthly subscription crate may be a dying breed, but at one time they were the hot items. These subscription boxes were what everyone was talking about. From dog toys to beer everything had been added to a crate.

The Grill Masters Club is one that I found recently. And with summer time knocking on our door, I thought it might be a fun one to try out. Not to mention it fits in with our BBQ master section quite well.

What is The Grill Masters Club?

The Grill Masters club is a monthly subscription box that send you items for your grill. This can include seasonings, rubs, sauces, accessories, and even smoking wood chips.

In my box I got a back of cherry wood chips for smoking, a Chili Seasoning, a Pork and Poultry Rub, and a sweet onion vinaigrette dressing. I also got a recipe card. All of the items included, minus the cherry chips, I have never seen before.

Thoughts?

What you get in the box is a good number of items, they are unique and can be used with a variety of dishes. I like that there are utensils or accessories that may be included. The idea of the box is to spread your horizons. Kind of the point of any mystery box. These would be great as a short subscription for gifts for dad’s birthday, Christmas or even Father’s Day.

Here is my issue. It’s a small box. Only four items. If the items worked together with the recipe card to make a dish or two, then that would be better. But it is still a small box and for the subscription fee, I am not fully convinced it is something that I would want to subscribe to long term. As a gift, it is great, especially for the person who loves to grill, prep, and takes pride in their cooking.

Should I get one?

If you are looking to change up your grilling game and challenge yourself a little this would be a good addition to your current spices and accessories and add a few extra recipes in your hands. I don’t typically follow recipes when I am grilling and prefer to make my own. There is also a discount code for more grilling products.

If you are looking for a gift then a two or three month subscription would be a nice gesture. The biggest issue I have seen reading other reviews is whether or not the monthly fee is worth what you get in the box. As a gift, it definitely is. I feel that some months are better than others as with all the subscription boxes out there.

If your interested in getting a box you can head over to http://grillmastersclub.com and subscribe to get $5 off through 6/30 using code GMCFATHERSDAY.
